So what is counselling or therapy?

It is a talking therapy that allows a person to talk about their problems or their feelings and thoughts in a safe, confidential space. CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) in particular can be very effective in helping to recognise your negative thinking patterns and can help you develop new, more balanced ways of thinking, enabling you to live a life you enjoy more.
